Bergen Peak Training Run 7/26/2009

Andre (aka "7 Mile Andre") is hosting a Bergen Peak Training Run from his house in Evergreen on Sunday, July 26, 2009.

Per Andre:

I think that we should meet at my home at 7 a.m. and leave for the run at
7:30 a.m. and that we should all run the same route from my
home to the top of the mountain, which will take from 1 hour to 1 hour
15 minutes and then there are two routes down. The
more direct route, i.e. the one we ran up, will take 1 hour to run down.
A longer route, where you run down the south side and do a loop around the
meadow back to my home, will take 1 hour 30 minutes to run down. Everyone
should be done by about 10:15 a.m. and then we can have brunch at my home.
I will obviously need to know who will be coming so we can work out how many
will stay for brunch.

So check your calendars and either let Andre know (via email) or leave a comment if you can make it. Details and directions to follow on a future post.

This would be a great Pikes Peak Training Run or a Relay Training Run on trail with altitude and elevation.

Thanks for hosting Andre and thanks for the Brunch offer.
